Hi guys, I'll post this in the A2 section first since it pertains to an A2 buttstock cleaning kit. I have hunted and gathered and have assembled all neccessary parts for the cleaning kits I need to insert in the buttstocks of my A2's. I am now only short a couple of sections of cleaning rod to complete the last kit. I don' want to have to buy another complete cleaning kit because then I will still be 2 pieces of cleaning rod short of another complete kit. SO, the question is, does anyone know where I might be able to pick up just a couple of sections of GI steel rod? I could use a couple of empty triangular pouches as well but those I can make if neccessary...Thanks for any info or assistance....<><....:)
If you can wait maybe two-three weeks, I think I can come up with some...No promises, and if I get them, they'll need to be de-rusted and refinished.
Why didn't you just buy the entire kit for $10 instead of wasting time tracking down each and every small part?

Every penny pinched on cleaning kits is a penny that can be spent on other stuff. Like more ammo, magazines, rifles, etc.

Wouldn't buying each piece seperately be more than buying the kit?
