Does anyone know of any sellers/manufacturers offering 9mm AR upper receivers in flat top configuration w/o forward assist? Any besides the highly priced ones from Rock River?

I'm also curious if any flat top upper recievers are offered without the gas tube vent hole in the front of the receiver?

Thanks and any help is greatly appreciated.

I think model 1 does as well

I also think rainier was making one with the bump, but no forward assist, but it does have the gas tube hole.

I used a Spike's Tactical billet upper. It has the deflector, but no F/A. It also is not machined to accept a gas tube. I'm not sure if they are still producing these however.

If buying one secondhand, be careful as many of those uppers were sold as out of spec seconds from spikes tactical.

I have one from M and A. I think they got it from Rock River (or the same source) but it just didn't have the name on it. Also if I recall J & T (Double Star) may have had them but I haven't checked lately.

Look here: 9mm upper without FA

I bought this upper (complete) on the EE several years ago. It reportedly came from Spikes.

No F/A, brass deflector, or gas tube hole.

Yeah - much quieter. Otherwise, what's the point?

Last time I inquired with them, they said they were redesigning them and would offer them again in the future. But with the amount of 5.56 that is backed up right now, I'd imagine it will be awhile.

More than a normal forged receiver. I don't remember exactly, but I think they were around the cost of VLTOR MUR
