upgraded triggers in a .22 lower?

Any issues with a Timney or Geissele trigger upgrade in a lower? I mean it from the perspective of the traditional wisdom of "go with a rounded, not notched, hammer."

I use a Kies with my target rifles.

I dont go too spendy with my 22 builds as the cheaper JP trigger and springs work well and you can use
your other stock trigger group parts and still come out with a good trigger job.
decent price trigger job here

I had a Timney 3lb trigger that was getting a few light hits. I now use a Geissele hi-speed match which hit nice and hard but the hammer spring isn't too stiff for the conversion kit to cycle. I love that trigger.

I use my lowers for other calibers.

IME light hammer/trigger springs may not have enough oooomph to reliably detonate rimfire.

They do if you make the light hammer spring a little stronger with a simple leg bend.

Been running an SSA in a 15-22 and it runs just fine.

Run the GA National Match HS trigger in the lowers and no issues with rimfire at all.

FWIW, One of my AR22's has a 3 lb. Timney and seems OK. Could be getting light strikes on CCI but Federal seems fine. The other is a RRA Match lower with the 2 stage. No problems with whatever I put in it.
