Tim just got these finished a few minutes ago.....The new TACCOM Ultra Light Weight Butt Stock for your 22LR AR15. He was hoping to have a buttstock that came in at 6 ounces so that you can make your 22LR the lightest it can possibly be for plinking, hunting, Ruger Rimfire, Steel Challenge, etc.
"To my amazement.....we are sitting @ 5 OUNCES!!!"

This will work with any AR15 that does not require a spring loaded buffer system. Made from 3/4" carbon fiber and delrin, despite it's light weight....it is VERY strong!!

Availible now and in stock....website to be updated this weekend.

I'm told the MSRP is $74.95, but he will be selling these for $69.95 until he has them in stock at his distributors.

Its always good to see people developing new products for the AR22 crowd. At 5 ounces that is light for sure. I am sure it has its place for some users but I do not like the looks of it. I know looks are not the most important aspect,as functionality is more important but it is nice to have both aspects to a degree.
Looks to be none adjustable also so that kinda takes away from functionality too. Price atleast is not too terribly high and as with most everything the price will probably drop after they are out there for a time.

These builds will not be directed to the Tactical crowd (and I'm one of them) This is along the lines of 3 gun shooters where weight and accuracy is a big consideration.
Sort of like all the bells and whistles you see for custom 10/22 builds.
I have to throw away my pre conceived notions about what looks right and remember the purpose, quality, and from this guy, reliability will be stellar.

Also remember, this is the beginning.
The guys that are looking for light weight short barrels, there will be those.
Threaded for suppressors, you will have it.
Many things coming.

I'm seeing the kind of innovation we've seen from the major players in the AR-22 Business.
Honestly believe we've just seen the tip of the ice berg with TACCOM. This company is
going to totally kick butt when things really get rolling. That's gonna be a windfall for all
of us. I believe we'll have a voice in what's new and for me that's been a major hurdle all
along... I've got nothing but good to say about this new player in the market...

Hmmm, interesting looking. The fixed length is nice for those still stuck behind enemy lines.

Never thought about that part.It would be nice for those in states that cannot have a adjustable stock.

Well now, something new! I have one of my .22 AR's built on a Cav Arms lower and it comes in really light. Wonder how this would compare?

Nice to see new product....

Anyone know what the lightest possible .22 AR buttstock configuration on the market was before this and what it weighed?

Ace lists their ultralite stock at the same weight as this one at 5oz

EDIT: I do however think this one would be stronger as the Ace one simply uses a rifle buffer tube, where this is carbon fiber. Not to mention I think this stock looks nicer, and makes more sense on a .22 than the bulkier Ace stock. Price is pretty much the same I believe.
