I have buying m193 for years, and used it in the mil.

i received a shipment of lc 12 headstamped ammo today,

and the primer crimp is staked in 4 positions instead of the usual circular crimp.

has anyone else seen this, is it a better way to keep the primer in or something?

just seems kinda wierd that what worked for decades has changed.

what do you think?

M855a1 is not, to my knowledge, not bring made on the efficient SCAMP lines that m193 is made on just yet, maybe there getting ready though. Could also be just new Machine, new type. I have some LC 12 brass that's still the ring crimp.
