6.8 SPC C-Product follower and Barrett 30 round magazine questions
Hello,
I have four 25 round C-Product magazines with ISMI 30 round 5.56 springs and what looks like gray followers. I've been having malfunctions with 3 out of the 4 mags. One of the malfunctions is a round nose diving below the feed ramps. I had to unload a couple full mags and they would even do this in the magazine. Is there a updated follower I could install to resolve these issues?
I've been thinking about switching to Barrett 30 round magazines lately. Is it true these have a maximum load length of 2.26"? Can hotter handloads safely be loaded to this length? The 95 gr. TTSX in particular? I'm loading 27 grains of H4198 and a standard CCI rifle primer. I would like to switch primers to CCI 41's in the near future though.

try the PRI mags they can be loaded to 2.29
