Msa sordin supreme pro x ?
Just picked up a pair of these and was wondering if any of you guys might be able to explain what is normal with these muffs.
Keep in mind i have not worn these to the range yet, just around the house. While having these on and talking to someone, they seem to muffle my voice.
I can hear things very clearly, but when i talk or raise my voice they seem to muffle. Is this normal?I have a pair of the Howard Leight electronic muffs and they are clear when i talk.
Just trying to find out if i may have gotten a defective pair or are they just that good at reducing the noise levels? If anyone lives in or around the Pensacola,Fl area and have a pair of these I would like to try them out to see if they sound different than mine.
I'm not sure I understand exactly what you are asking. I will say that my voice sounds different with the muffs on rather than off, I guess you could call it muffled.
Eta: If you want to drive to Oklahoma you can try mine (sarcasm).
You know how regular muffs with no electronics sound when you try and talk to someone, that is kinda what these sound like sometimes.
I would say that's normal. You are going to have a little bit of muffled noise when talking. Although it should be CLOSE to what is considered NORMAL when speaking with someone. That's the nature of having something over top of your ears. I have Remington 2000's, Peltor ComTacs, and MSA Sordins. They all seem to do the same as your stating. Hope that helped.
