I just bought a new Spikes from a friend and it came with one of their cases. Sorry I don't have a pic, but I'll try to get one tonight.

Personally, I'd call it a giveaway case. You can twist either half when it's not closed. It has four clasps and three locking points. It's OK for transport in the car, but I wouldn't fly with it.

Here are the pics. In the last one you can see that you can twist the shell when it open, so it's not super thick plastic.

That's a HELL of a lot nicer case than what came with my Rock River. It's no Pelican case, but nice enough.

I looked far and wide for the right hard case for storage and carrying to the range. I prefer the Rock River case ($40 shipped). It's about 39 inches x 12.5 inches x 3.5 inches. Fits an assembled AR with scope but without magazine inserted. Thicker and more rigid than a low-end Plano case, but definitely not air-tight. Love it. I saw the Stag Arms case at the range and thought it was too long, thin plastic, and not tall enough for my rifle with scope. YMMV.

Mine came with the rifle. I'm guessing they threw in the hard case since I waited 4 months for the rifle. It was a nice gesture, but I don't use it.
