Hey guys I know this is asked once a day but I haven't seen this exact questioned asked with my perimeters. I'm looking for a tac light for $200 or less that has a 100yd range for hunting coyotes. I'm not real concerned with a pressure pad but I do like the option to use different color lenses. The lights ive been looking at currently are: Streamlight TLR-1HP (not shipping yet) and the Klarus XT11. Looking for some first hand experience on the light your recommending at 100 yds. Thanks guys

Alternatively, a G2 with a Malkoff M60 or M61. I use the M61 and have been very impressed.

Surefire Scout. If you watch the EE you can sometimes catch them under $200. For focused and bright beam in a compact package.

Problem with this one for a weaponlight is the two stage head. (it comes on 'low' first). The VTAC version has a single stage head.

Actually it starts in high output mode, then goes to low if you press it again.

I was quite impressed with the output of the Streamlight SuperTac I tried and the TLR-1 HP seems to have similar specs. The SuperTac was a impressive "thrower", tight beam with a long range.

I have the XLR 250 Red and have loved it since the day I got it. Here's a shot of mine mounted on the side of my Remington R15 Let me know if you need more info.

I'm liking the XLR250 light alot! Now I do have to ask, Can you REALLY see the red/green lights out to 250yds? Or would I need to go with the white light to get that much range out of it?

I can only speak for the red light as that is what i own. Since it's a red LED the light beam is pure and concise. It's a solid red beam out to 100 yards which gives plenty of light to make out objects very easily. I have no issues seeing a fox in the brush at 100 yards. Out past 100 yards you can still pick up eyes very easily. Deer at 200 yards are still very easy to make out in the light. I will see if I can get you some night pictures without freaking out the neighbors.

Here is the link to Brightflashlights ad. You have to ask for one that fits the M951 light as not all of them do. I have a Malkoff that does not fit, but will probably order one from Brightflashlights to try again.

i just bought a led lenser v2 ..its rated to reach up to 190 meter have not received it yet but i have no doubts it will preform plus if you dont like it you can just use it for edc its 25 bucks..also its small and lightweight just like i like.also i believe in this company since i already own a led lenser p7 and have dropped it so many times on concrete without it breaking.
