Any issues with mounting the light on the bottum side of the MOE handguards and putting the tape switch on the ejection port side? I wasnt it to be consistant with my 870 lights pressure switch positions.
This is for rifle length hanguards, not carbine or middy where space is scarce.
Does the mount pictured above work with any1" tactical light or does it need to be your flashlight?
Never midn, I just read you FAQ page and it will fit most standard tactical lights.
I know this is on a middy, however with a rifle length handguard I'm pretty sure it would look the same if you attached it to the handguard. The bicycle inner tube is b/c the velcro was coming off due to the heat in my trunk and this was the easiest way of fixing it.

Sounds like the Elzetta mount with a MOE Illumination mount kit(for the tape switch) should do the trick for you.
I know its not exactly what you specified but this has been working extremely well for me. It's the MOE scout mount

What light mount is that?
Impact Weapons Components.
VTAC mounted on top handguard. For me I don't like anything mounted around the barrel & all those other mounts I found are to far forward for me to use.
