Ok so I know when I do my castle nuts on my collapsible stocks I either stake them or use red lock-tite and I have never had one come loose. I dont really use my torque wrench here either because frankly i just never have and have never had a problem.
So im building my #4 and im on the lower right now. Im putting a PRS stock on this thing so im screwing in my A2 buffer tube. Yes I see the squared end to use for tightening it into the receiver, but is there anything else i can do to secure it a little extra? Can I just goop some red locktite into the threads and snuger up and go?
I put a drop or two of blue locktite. Red is overkill and will cause all kinds of trouble if you need to remove it.

haha, well, i don't remove them......
I just build another rifle

You don't need to do anything special for an A2 buffer tube. The screw that goes into the back should be have loctite on it. The screw will hold everything in place with no need for anything else on the receiver extension threads.

Then use all the red loktite you can stand. I personally would only use a bit of blue because a receiver extension doesn't require high temp loktite and is not a terrible BITCH to unscrew in the future.
I'm a little confused about what your question is then.

The advice previously given was sound in my opinion. Blue Loktite is good on such parts (receiver extensions) because they are not exposed to high temps therefore does not require extreme heat resistance like what red Loktite was designed for.
Red Loktite often requires the part being heated to very HOT temps using a torch for instance before the part can be unscrewed.
Just use blue.
