I got an ALG - ACT trigger coming today.
I've seen where a lot of people install triggers with grease. Is this recommended or is oil fine? I use slip 2000 usually
Thanks,
Paul
I always a dab of grease just because I believe it will stay on the parts longer than oil. I have no evidence, just urban legend.

From Geissele FAQ:
What is the red grease you supply with your triggers? It works great and I'd like to get a supply of it.
The red grease we use is Mobil 28.
Here is the SSA Instruction sheet....

Cool. Thanks!
I noticed it says "grease or oil" though. Do they recommend grease but oil will work? I guess I'm confused on what the expert opinion is on this
Thanks,
Paul
The way I look at it is you will end up cleaning the grease away. I just use CLP on everything in a lower. Easy and done.
