I ordered a stock from gunbroker because it was already pinned ( I live in NJ so if your stock is collapsable then it means your a murderer).. Anyway the buffer spring looks to be the right length but I got a rifle buffer. Pretty sure it wont work so I went ahead and got a carbine buffer

You need to host your pics rather then attaching them from your e-mail account.
Make sure you have a carbine length receiver extension rather then the Bushmaster faux one (looks like a carbine but is really rifle length).
ok well it is a bushmaster stock. how can I tell if it is the one you say. So maybe this buffer is correct?
technically the law states folding or telescopic which most AR stocks are not. it just depends if you want to stand your ground on that or not. i was going to put an adjustable stock on my ar (I can legally since I don't have a threaded muzzle and it would be my 1 "evil" feature) but I don't feel like dealing with the ignorance of the law and losing it because they don't understand it properly.

Take a tape measure and measure the depth of your receiver extension.
If its depth measures ~7", it is a carbine extension.
If its depth measures ~9.625" it is a rifle extension.
also just real quick how exactly do i put the pics up again. I would like to know for the future.... Thanks for everything
and I just measured the extension. It is about 9.6 so its a rifle length. Thanks for the help!!
