Which loctite do you use when putting on a barrel nut?

People have told me different things from nothing to red. I was thinking blue but want to see what you all use. I'm putting on a new Troy trx extreme and want to do it correctly.

Thanks.

None. You use lube. Preferably a litihium grease.

burn the loctite

tm calls for moly grease.

high temp lithium wheel bearing grease is more readily available.

A muzzle device is a different type of application.

Grease. No loctite, bought a used upper and someone previous had used red loctite on the nut. We had to use a torch and strap wrench to get it off.

Barrel nut and loctite are not friends.

Muzzle devices sure.
