Charging handle scuffing top of receiver
I've noticed that after i installed a scope my charging handle does not charge smoothly and feels "sticky". I was wondering if the awkward use of my charging handle under my scope has changed the way i manipulate the action. I have notice a deep scuff along the top of receiver as well. I've already made an order for a scope charging handle adapter in hopes this will help. Anyone know what i should do to combat this situation? i do not want to further damage my AR. Thanks.
The scuff is normal.
Look into the gunfighter charging handle, if you grab the CH by just the latch side thats whats causing the different feel.
The GF handles are disigned to be pulled by just grabbing the latch, regular ones are not
normal

you could put a touch of grease on the ch nubs, but the wear as long as itt is smooth and even is normal.
