Second let me say that I am an absolute beginner and have no former AR knowledge, so please humor me once you find out how simple my questions are.
I just recently purchased my first AR. It is a CCMG 9mm M4LE model. This is not a rifle that I bought parts for and then assembled like you guys would, but rather a complete rifle from the manufacturer that is dedicated to 9mm.
The manual that was sent with the rifle is written for a traditional AR chambered for .223/5.56 and this is where my problem lies. Many of the steps listed in the manual for dis-assembly, cleaning, and lubing simply do not apply to my rifle. I guess the biggest difference is there is no gas system like a traditional AR but rather just a simple blow-back. So when it comes to things like the bolt carrier assembly and the locking lugs I am at a loss.
I assume I simply don't have some of these items on this rifle and can skip over those points....but is that a safe assumption? Correct, 9mm bolt doesnt lock up like a 5.56.
For example my bolt carrier doesn't have a cam pin to turn 90 degrees (not that I can find). Can I remove the bolt and clean the extractor?
Also my firing pin has a spring on the pin itself and does not go into the hole on the back of the bolt carrier. It is all these "little" things that have me confused. I have searched this forum (which by the way is awesome!) and watched many YouTube videos and read through several online manuals, but I can't find anything specifically for this blow-back type system as everything is geared for a traditional .223 AR.
I haven't even fired this rifle yet because I want to learn exactly how it works (inside) and be able to break it all down and clean/lube it properly once I do.
Is there anything online that might have diagrams or photos that shows the correct way to clean and re-assemble a 9mm blow-back AR? I have sent an email to CCMG but so far have not heard anything back from them. So I am really hoping somebody here can point me in the right direction.
Thanks in advance for any help you all can provide!

About all i do to mine is give the bcg a good wipe down and a little oil on the outside. You can remove the firing pin. There is a small cotter pin you can pull and then the firing pin will come out. I havent needed to remove and clean the extractor on mine, just use a small brush. Also a brush to clean the face of the bolt. I oil the trigger group pins since i use anti-rotaing pins. I run a cleaning rod down the barrel from chamber to muzzle and then a cloth path with a drop of oil. I have found that my 9mm ar doesnt really need a lot of cleaning, not much powder burning in there like a 5.56 and you dont have the gas tube blowing junk back into the gun like a 5.56.
Thank you so much for your reply !
I know my questions are probably making you all smack your foreheads while you mumble something about me being such a noob. And I am sure that once I learn how this rifle works I will probably feel stupid for asking these questions
Also got good news from CMMG today. They replied to my email and answered some of my questions and also advised me that they would get their designer on working to do a video.
Thanks again for your help but be forewarned to expect more noob questions from me in the near future !

Have you check on E-bay/Web for manuals?.
