 Spring Kit and Buffer Piston

Hey guy's I had a question. Is there a spring kit out there for the AR that has like 3 of every spring just incase one gets bent, pops out etc. Just thinking ahead and it would be nice to have a complete spring kit in the tool box rather than having to order one of each etc.. Another question, The spring that holds up the little buffer retainer that prevents the buffer piston from going totally forward bent. My friend was firing it and didn't realize that it had bent so the edges of the buffer piston got a bit chewed up. It still fires perfectly fine, doesn't grind on anything, I polished it down a little so it's not rough anymore, but I 'm wondering if I should be better safe than sorry and replace the buffer piston or as long as it's still working at 100% to keep on using it?

It seems like several people sell complete spring packages, just buy three.
The buffer should not touch the retainer when the weapon is assembled.
In any case the damage to the buffer sounds cosmetic only.

Check for burs on your carrier, that is what usually causes chew marks in the buffer. OR your receiver extension is not installed correctly.
