I use Brownell's bronze chamber brushes on all my firearms.
You'll need some sort of hande to use with it. I use the "tee" handle from my Lewis Lead Remover kit:

I use the same one that I use for the M1A. It works with all of my .30's.

a .45 ACP bore brush on a pistol rod makes short work of chamber cleaning.

The M3 chamber tool for the M1 work's like a charm too. It has a tapered bronze brush so it pretty much fits almost any full-sized rifle chamber.
ak bristle brush that comes in the tool cleaning kit, patches, and a .45 cal bore snake last
