OK, I am sitting on 6 spam cans of surplus 5.45 however I would like to purchase some NON corrosive ammo. Why? Well, I just want to so please, lay off the comments about how the surplus stuff is so much cheaper. I know this hence the 6 cans I got now.

I'm looking for Wolf BB, Mil Classic, Brown / Silver Bear or whatever is NON corrosive and new production. My 74 loves the stuff and is very accurate with it. The surplus stuff is so/so as to accuracy and I've now had three duds (not the rifle's fault). At this point I want to stock up on NON corrosive. Thanks in advance.

I keep some silver bear 5.45 to shoot a couple of rounds at the end of a day shooting corrosive.

It doesn't address all concerns with shooting corrosive, but it is part of my program.

Does this actually help a little with the corrosion if you don't clean?

I started doing this for my S&W 5.45 AR, which has a much smaller diameter gas tube, with the idea of blowing out the gas tube with non-corrosive.

Then I started doing it for my 5.45 Saiga conversion as well, not sure if it's necessary or helpful on an AK.
