Any pics of AK after shooting Yugo ammo? Especially if left un-cleaned for several days?

Anyone have photos of what an AK looks like after several days later after shooting corrosive ammo such as the Yugo stuff currently available?

This one is awsome:

I am not afraid of corrosive ammo myself, I shoot a lot of 5.45 spam can surplus. I just follow up with water and ballistol, I've no corrosion issues on either my S&W 5.45 ARs nor my Saiga SGL31s

yup, dont let those shocking pictures fool you about corrosive ammo. Those people are just lazy, all you need is some windex or boiling water and your good. Yugo brass is very good ammo!

I'll bet that AK still runs...

If not, then a few minutes with some oil and it will be good to go. You should have seen some of the f'd up AKs we took from the Iraqis during DS/DS...

That looks like it had about 5,000 rounds fired through it and then left outside in a wet garage for a week.

Normal shooting wouldn't do that.

Maybe if he lived in Florida with like 100% humidity haha all that salt in the air from the ocean would only accelerate the process.

Truer words were never spoken. That level of crud could happen down here in about 24 hours .............

I shoot 5.45 corrosive surplus with my Gaiil and AR I clean it every 2 weeks only. These are my gun truck. I shoot maybe 3 or 4 mags a week. After a week or two there might be some beginning of rust that forms. It wipes right off. I guess it is rust but very light. I can't tell after its clean. Also I live in Florida. Im not scared by corosive ammo it is cheap and is very good quality. I have shot a few thousand rounds and got 4 crates sitting in my garage.

I'd like to know what the round count is on that and if the rifle was still functioning.

The internals look like they have been in a fire (as in you see a lot of things look like that after they've been in a building that burned). The outside of the receiver looks good though so I'm sure that's not the case.

Yes it is one the ADCO guy's pics, and it was used with a suppressor so there was a lot more "crud" deposited back in the receiver.
