Anyone done an accuracy test on the Yugo x39 ammo?
Anyone done a bench rested review of the surplus Yugo x39 ammo that's been sold currently?
All I can say is the 1200 rounds of M67 my neighbor and I shot at Knob Creek was noticeably more accurate compared to what we had been shooting.
It was also 100% reliable but very corrosive, you have to clean your gun anyway.
Prone at 100 yards. Left to right, black box Wolf, Yugo M67 and German.

Our best 10 shot groups w/ a RPK was just under 2 1/2inches, guess they avg 3. This was shooting from a bench w/ a high pwr scope.
We experienced less muzzle flash, especially with an AK pistol. This ammo out penetrated commerical ammo and was nearly as good as steelcore.
Interesting! What kind of Wolf were you using?
The difference in accuracy looks almost nonexistent to me ... although targets 3 and 4 can't really be used for comparison, due to the different number of rounds fired. Targets 1 and 2 show very little difference at all.
When I scope my SAR-1, I can get 3 inch groups at 100 yards with Yugo ammo. With Wolf black box, I'm lucky to get 5 inches. My Brown Bear seems to be the middle, from about 3.5 to 4 or so.
This is shooting the rifle cold each time with no wind. I gave the ammo to some people to try and asked them what they thought. First thing out of their mouth, "better accuracy!"
No pics though, huh?
I happened to save one.
Damn, that's incredible!
To what do you attribute the difference between this amazing accuracy, and the more to-be-expected targets XM-15 posted?
EDIT: Also, if you don't mind me asking, how many targets did you shoot before getting this one, which you saved?
Be honest now!

I kept cooling the barrel down with ice water and a rag! Each time I shot, I got the gun all cooled down again. My SAR-1 isn't a normal junk Romanian AK. I also shot from a bench using a decent scope.
He shot prone and didn't say if he used a scope or not.
Full magazine fired at 50 yard target. Battle sights only.......Yugo ammo marked 1979
