 Run down of corrosive and non corrosive ammos for 7.62x39

I have a YHM 7.62 complete rifle coming next week and hope you guys can give me a clue on the 7.62 ammo ? I hear there's completely corrosive, corrosive primers only and then non corrosive altogether .Any tips are appreciated.Thanks

The only corrosively primed cartridges currently imported is Yugoslavian mil surp AFAIK.
All commercial Russian cartridges are non-corrosive.
All Warsaw Pact and Chinese mil surp ammunition was corrosively primed. None is currently imported.

So the steel cased Herters/Wolf is among the non corrosive ? And thanks for the tip.

That ammunition is made in Russia. It's non-corrosive.

That pretty much sums it up.

The general rule of thumb to go by: Mil-surp from any Combloc country is corrosive. Any new production ammo (Wolf, Barnaul, WPA, Herter's, etc.) is NOT corrosive.
