What markings will Chinese drum mags have?
I have a drum that I'm trying to determine if it's true Chinese. I payed $110 for it a few months back.
So what markings does it have on it?
There's a couple different ones. It'll either have a triangle 36, circle 396 or circle 9396
Mine just has "china" stamped in almost microscopic letters. I was reading elsewhere that the only markings that came on the chinese drums were the triangle and circled numbers. I started to think maybe mine was a fraud.
My Chinese 75 round, which I have owned since 95, only has a triangle with 36 in it on the back cover, between the winder and the feed lips. Other than the arrow to indicate winding direction it has no other markings.
My 100 round Chinese drum has no markings.

I have 5 chinese drums and none of them have china stamped on them. Just the circle or triangle markings.

Thats what has me suspicious. Through research, yours seems to be the norm for chinese drums. I havent seen anything about them just being stamped "china" In really small letters.
Where exactly does it say "China"?

On the door close to the outside edge.
All my drums had a small oval sticker that said made in China.
Never stamped in the metal.
I have a chicom drum that I bought new in 95 and all it has is the oval sticker. I don't see any stampings on it. However, it's still in the plastic, never opened.
I need to drag out the other 3 and check them.
Don't forget those Circle 10 drums

And what would circle 10 have to do with Chinese drums?
