Screw-On Side Rail for Stamped Receiver

My primary AK is a 5.45 Bulgarian sidefolder that was built several years ago and I've finally decided I'd like to add a side rail to use the PO 3.5x21P that's been gathering dust in my vault for years. I've done a few searches and found reference to a screw-on rail that used to be offered by Tantal. Is this rail currently available from anyone else? I have the drilling instructions from Tantal's site for locating the holes, but I can't find the mount at Kalinka...which is the only other Russian optics source I'm aware of. I'd rather not have to remove the rear trunnion rivet for the "correct" installation method, so if the screw-on mount is no longer available, I'll just sell the optic and go without. For a variety of reasons, I'm not interested in other mounting options.

Thanks in advance for any info.

Website belongs to Tantal's daughter, who has taken over for him to a certain extent.

The rail is a high quality piece and will come with detailed install instructions of it's own. Install is a breeze.

I also have a PO 3.5x21P and it is mounted on a MPK2 rail right now.

Thanks again. I ordered the rail this afternoon and live within 3 hours of her, so hopefully I can install it soon.

Just received the rail this afternoon and installed it this evening. Took about 30min to strip all the internals, mark the receiver and drill the holes. I did a dry fit and everything looks great. Tomorrow morning, I'll boresight the scope and print a few groups to make sure I aligned everything properly then pull the screws back out and apply red locktite. Definitely $35 well spent.

Thanks again for the info. Now I think I'll go find a PK-AS to complement my PO3.5x21...
