High Standard is also making AKs in Houston. They look pretty good. WiseLite should be good too. The RPG ones are a mix of parts from different countries. He just uses whatever he has around the shop. He is a break away from Armory USA that is pretty much TU. I would think that warranty wise High Standard and WiseLite would be the way to go.

Elite Firearms is trash.

Randy Kline of Sledgehammer Arms is damned good people.

I just bought one today. Apparently they(RPG) just rebadge DCI receivers and sell them as their own, or at least that's what I've heard. My rifle was assembled by IO inc in NC. It has a tapco galil-style fore-end grip and a Tapco trigger set.

I haven't fired it yet, so I can't attest to accuracy.

This is a Romy G kit on one of Armory USAs 1.6mm receivers from before the name change. Good stuff, and it was nice having someone local to do the work.

We are located in Texas. Could be one of our AK rifle's.
Lately we have had a LOT of calls from people requesting to come by our office and buy AK's.
We don't always have these rifles and pistols available as we make them between production contracts for our other belt feds and such.
We are about to make a small run of Yugoslavian RPK's using selected matching part sets.
The kits were expensive, but I have seen none nicer than these.

I bought one in 7.62x.
It came in an IOinc box with paperwork ,sling, german cleaning kit,and 1 promag.
Plastic furniture , bayo lug ,removeable muzzle nut.

Looked like this except had a tapco "galil" handguard.

I replaced the plastic with Romy wood I refinished.

It is marked R.P.G. ARMS South Houston Texas , and has an Elk River receiver.

The Assembly work is First Rate and it has a solid Parkerized finish.
All the part #s on mine match.

I bought an AKM from RPG Arms back in 2007. It was built on an Armory USA receiver, with blonde Bulgarian furniture. Nice rifle...
