What color AK furniture should I use?

I just picked up a new WASR AK with gold plating on it.It has the original wood furniture on it which I plan to swap out.
I was thinking of repainting and putting AK74 Plastic set on it.
What color goes good with gold?

Black or the orange Bakelite but then some dark knotty walnut would too.

Dark walnut from IWD in Chinese pattern would be my choice
