Today was a good day...

Picked up a near new Maadi RML with......the Y stamp!!! I'll get pics up when I get it unbanned here in a month or so. This one is going out for threading, piston swap, gas block swap and possibly a re-finish depending on how everything looks when it's done. A real AKM.

No, but it should. In all honesty, it was a trade off. The wife is getting one of the bathroom's remodeled while I get a few more toys. FYI- if your house was built in the 1930's, chances are your bathroom tile is sitting on six inches of concrete. I've taken it out all the way to the studs and broke the cast iron tub up with a sledge- what a horrible mess. Anyway, I'll post some pics of the AKM when complete.

It's been in there since 1939. I could have it re-glazed but opted for a new tub instead. I replaced it with a metal one of course.
