Portland Oregon GunShow AKs very Picture heavy!! Check it out

Here are some pics of what I saw AK related... My favorite $1,100 M76 with a nice Russian scope 8mm and wow its nice!! I was drooling!!
Also I got 2 oilers 2 pairs of ASP restraints (1.50$ each) a 5$ stripper clip speedloader for my sks clips and 4,320 rounds of 7n6 all for 580$

The one you thought was a ban era Chinese is called a Norinco Hunter. They come like that. Good for making Galil clones actually.

Wish we had shows that large down here. We get mainly black rifles, some guy with Nazi shit, and a fat woman repeatedly demonstrating a stun gun. The AK's that come thru are mainly WASRs at $550, but occasionally you run into a private seller with some nice stuff. Your ammo alone makes my jaw drop. Good buys!!!

yep they dont allow cameras... But im not profiting from it and its a cell phone with an 8mp camera that is silent so they cant tell.. Yeah came from cali so its nice to see real shows alot of class III goodies too but i kept it ak themed cuz thats my new interest.. I own A hamdful of aR15s but im over ammo.prices... Also picked up a full size m and p 9mm new on sale 460 otd!

Not to nitpick, but the Zrak scope on that M76 isn't Russian, it's Yugoslavian/Bosnian.

I hate rules, I hate pointless laws... If a single vendor said no pics Id respect it, but the whole show says none... I break rules, well all the time... Laws are to expensive to break, so I obey them... actually I havent even gotten a parking ticket in my entire life... My record DMV to criminal says only my name!! :D Im a straight shooter, but I dont follow the herd, sorry... your an accomplice after the fact now that you saw them!!! :D

Oh and about the scope Im sure you are right, I am new to the AK world the markings looked russian, but Im sure youre correct!

That's the Collector's West show. Not a big fan of it, and haven't been in a couple years.

It's like most other shows...you might get lucky and find a deal, but mostly it's the same expensive stuff every time. There is one large firearms vendor and one large ammo vendor that have "normal" pricing, and those two vendors can make it worthwhile if you're specifically looking for something. Otherwise, its like most other gun shows. Except with hippies. It's Portland...perhaps the only place gun shows have hippies.

Oh, and it cost $15 just to get in the door ($7 admission, $8 parking). That itself can eat into any savings you might find if you're just going for ammo.

It's not only pointless, stupid, and absurd. But it makes me think that they're conducting illegal activity in the building if they don't allow cameras.

If you're not doing anything illegal, selling to people you shouldn't, and all the guns are rightfully yours, then why fear someone with a camera?

That's a great show! I went once a few years ago...

Carried a 135mm Howitzer tube back with me through the airport as a "checked bag" hahaa!!! (way pre-9/11!).
