Should I de-ban my MAADI ARM?

I'm thinking about putting on some correct Egyptian grips and stock. Any reason not to other than cost? I imagine collectibality is greater with it "correct" in military configuration?

I don't see any reason not to. The MAADIs are great shooters and underated. I have converted two already
and they came out great. The parts can be a real bitch to find depending on how far you want to go. I hopped
on it a couple years ago when APEX had the front sight bases and gas blocks.
Prior to that I literally spent years looking for them. FWIW.....the Romanian bayonets will lock up on the remaining
bayonet lug on the ACC/INTRAC rifles. I don't understand how because the ears are shaved off, but they lock up tight.
