Hypothetical question to the builders out there, would it be possible to build an ak style rifle out of just American manufactured parts? I would imagine if it is its not cost effective.

I may be wrong, but I'm pretty sure those Century guns are made with some foreign parts.

There's a lot of American made parts, but I don't recall seeing some components like trigger guards, gas blocks, front sight supports, rear sight blocks, barrel trunnions, bolt carriers, bolts, and rear trunnions.

Some of these may be available, but probably not in a standard AK form.

People have said that, but haven't provided any proof to back it up.
