You know what I'm gonna tap: Condition, condition, condition.
There are also regional price variables to consider. Florida ia s gun friendly state for sure altho who knows other than a Floridian about current availability to SAR-2s on the local market.
Being as close to "original" is best, of course, altho a competent addition of a proper Romy -74 front sight assembly and brake (milsurp) would boost value a Benjamim. A milsurp side-folding butt could easily add another.
Stark original in good conditiion should command, oh, $500 in a FTF.
Jus' $0.02 from the opposite corner of the country. Hope it helps.

Dick is probably about right on the SAR-2 price. However, The CAI M-74 and 5.45mm Saigas are cheaper at the moment, so they've pretty much killed the SAR-2 market in the near term.

Jus' to add a pair of final thoughts ... pertaining to a prospective SAR-2 purchaser, ask for peripherals and original box.
I'd figure a proper cleaning kit, cleaning rod and export-style green spun carry strap is worth $20 net.
What I'd ask for would be the original zeroing target !!!
This final item may come as a surprise to some. SARs in all three flavs were shipped with a regulation zeroing paper target showing five holes and tagged to the carbine via a inked serial number and possibly date. Really cool extra this. Pity they didn't carry the practice forward with the WASR series.
Should you be selling a SAR, well, as pointed out above, good luck. Prospective buyers will want the full meal deal so beware.
