Just picked up a PSL. Couple questions...

Just got it home and 2 things have become apparent. It has been fitted with an aftermarket muzzle brake (AMD style) which fits loosely. This won't do. Anyone know where to find a PSL muzzle brake for sale? I've searched and can't seem to find any for sale.

Also, the TIP2 scope fits *very* tightly. It's a genuine struggle to get it on and off the side rail. As in, it's extremley difficult to throw the lever that releases the mount, and even when I get it flipped, it almost takes a rubber mallet to get the thing off and on. This won't do either. Is there an adjustment I can make to the scope mount to make this a bit easier?

Thanks in advance for any help.

The scope mount is adjustable for tension. Take the scope off, flip it over and look at the part that slides on the rail. See that castle nut on top of the silver block? Press the block towards the spring and loosen the castle nut. Only loosen it a very slight amount at a time and trial fit it to the rail.

Huge pic left it dead ad a cut and paste. IM sent.

AAAANNND you will want to leave that scope throw the way it is. I do not even remove mine, and it is that tight.

The reason it is that tight, is to "close in" your groups. If it moves, it will swing left and right. Making a horizontal string of impacts, of two or three inches.

^1IV, the link you posted appears broken.

I know what a PSL flash hider looks like, I was just wondering if anyone knew where I could purchase one.

Thanks for the advice on the scope. My only concern is being able to occasionally remove it while cleaning the weapon.

Go with a PKM flash hider.. they are more accurate. The long PSL brake does a number on your accuracy.
