So the extractor pulled a slice of rim off of the casing in my PSL's chamber. The isn't enough sticking out to grab it with pliers and there wasn't a full separation of the base from the neck to get a shell extractor in. How do I get it out? I tried pounding it from the other side and of course that went nowhere...
Thanks,
wow, weird one....so the base isn't separated? and you used a cleaning rod and tapped it with a brass hammer from the bore end? if its not letting go, spray a penetrating oil/libricant down the bore and let it sit for a while...then tap again with a cleaning rod......

THIS. Hope you can get that bad sumbich out; broken casings are PITA.
It's soaking in oil now. Maybe I'll try tapping it a little harder. My brass gets little splits in it sometimes so I wonder if I got a weak lot of ammo...
Stuck case puller...probably a 308 one if you can get it in.
I take a length of .22 caliber brass cleaning-rod..like maybe three sections screwed together...and slide it down the bore fast, releasing it to slam into the empty case. generally knocks it right out..
