I just found this over at Robinson's website. It's linked from their front page, so hopefully it's not stale:
During our year end inventory, we found that we have a few new, unused VEPR rifles of almost every model and caliber. The VEPR was one of, if not the best AK-47 rifle ever built. It may never be possible to find these VEPRs again. If you have always wanted a VEPR but couldn't find one, this is you day. Prices start at $995. We even have some rare models like the VEPR Super and VEPR KTR. Supplies are very limited. If you have any questions or want to know if we have a certain model or configuration, don't hesitate to call 801-355-0401 or email tech@robarm.com.
We will post more when we have prices and a final list of what is available. (hopefully with pictures.)

I've got a one that is "like new' in the EE....when I heard they were re-releasing them I figured the price would drop. I have seen them sell for $1100+ online, so I thought $900 was pretty fair...They are asking $995 and up now...so I guess my price is still good considering. Or maybe I should go raise it real quick?
roy d...nah, that wouldn't be cool would it?

If it's true, then, get 'em while they're hot.
As I've said in another thread, the Red Jacket VEPR built from the new imports is HIDEOUS. The Robinson is one classy looking and great shooting rifle.
"during our year-end inventory"
ya, right
these were squirreled away as an investment and are being liquidated now that others are importing

I'm not in love with the RobArms furniture. While it doesn't look bad, saying it looks good is a stretch in my eyes.
I hate the fact that RJ went with the cut-the-tang ACE block, which means you're stuck with that folder for life.
I wish Ironwood or someone else would come out with a fixed AKM butt stock that works with the Vepr slant. It would seem that there are enough rifles in circulation to justify the production. Dinzag already has the handguards covered for my .308.
Geeze, a thousand bucks is a little steep for me right now

I wish I'd seen your ad earlier, I would have bought it.

They used to have a list of what they had for sale, and what had been sold. The list is gone, so I assume they were all sold.
