sgl21 with folding metal triangle stock

The receiver is not modded for a proper side-folder (like on sgl21-84 or sgl21-94). At that price, I would not buy. You can find sgl21-84 or -94 for that price or maybe even a little bit less. BTW -84=triangle side folder; -94=solid 100 series folding stock
thanks, so that stock did not come with the gun? i was wondering if a -94 stock could be fit
now looking for a factory 21-94
I'm not sure but I think it may have come this way from the factory (sgl21-74). Alternatively, dealer may have installed this
stock on it.

It can be fit, but it requires a lot more work and, hence, higher cost. Just look for the model (-84 or -94) you actually want.

Don't buy that rifle in your pictures. Wait for the 21-94's when they come back in stock in early 2012.
I wouldn't buy that at that price. Actually at any price.

I hate those triangle adapter extension things.
You can get a proper triangle side folder from Arsenal for less.
$1200? Looks like a $800 rifle with a $150 bolt on external block stock.

I essentially agree, but I'd call it a $750 rifle with a $150 add on external block stock
An earlier poster is not correct - - the add on stock will lock in place. There's a tab on the triangle stock that a spring loaded
hook engages to lock in place.
I have this set-up on an SGL 21 and like it. One possible factor to consider (as you can see from the photos) this adds alot
to the length of pull of your rifle. It is actually a little bit longer than the same rifle with a NATO length stock. So if youre on
the shorter side, are wearing heavy clothing in the winter, don't like NATO length AK stocks, etc you may not like the
set-up.
Of course, the price given is ridiculous. Maybe someone confused it with a factory folding stock model.
yes I wrote to the "gun librarian" and in his response he basically said that they got suckered to buying high so they had to sell it at that price. I guess they thought it was a factory folder and are passing off the cost
That just illustrates how important it is to do your homework - - - like you did by posting this question.
(I'm usually pretty good about doing that now, especially with big purchases - -when I didn't in the past I had thought "I better jump on it now before its gone !"
If a sucker , ummm buyer, goes for that it'll be a very expensive mistake (a minimum of $500 high on that used rifle). Its at the Cabelas in La Vista, Nebraska. Sounds like an employee doesnt wanna be responsible for the loss on their books so would rather have it sit forever, or snag the uninformed. (But who knows, maybe this thread will get on some general search engines.)
in my email i told them the rifle was a subject on a local firearms owners association forum and that there was interest in it and that it would sell if the price was fair or reasonable. they've had it for a long time and ever other week when I visit I ask for their rock bottom price and it never changes...considering they buy at most 65% , someone really got taken. if they've had a used gun for long, you can usually ask for their bottom price. you'd be surprised at some of the prices(on the low end)
edit: youre right, I finally got the stock to fold and lock folded the last time I finger f'd it, but it took a bit of pressure. the "librarian" guy was cool about it because he wanted to know as well
