My question goes out to the yugo gods that could help me out. I love the rifle it works flawlessly but im having a problem with the underfolder release button getting harder to push to release the underfolder, i have to rock the underfolder back and forth to release it while pressing the button. The underfolder has always been really stiff, I gues its a good thing cuz ive heard it can get very sloppy, but my problem is the release button. Is there anything I can do to loosen it up just a tad. I went with the "just run it eventually it will losen by itself" plan but im 4000rds through it and its still stiff, i did a real heavy cleaning of the area but nothing. My last plan is to breakdown the rear underfolder area and take it apart. Like I said it's not a bad thing but its a pain when i gotta go from hip to shoulder I gotta stop and grab the rifle with both hands and start tinkering with the release. Any suggestions???

Not really everything looked really good when I took it apart.

I was able to take apart and strip the whole area, it was full of gunk but nothing out of this world. I did back down the nut 1 turn but the UF was way to loose so I just put it back to how it was. What i did do was cut off 1 coil off the release button spring and now I could manipulate it with just my thumb. Everything functions the same.

the locking ears are prolly just un-worn. the next time you break it down just polish the inner and outer locking ears w/ some steel wool, should help them engauge and dis-engauge a bit smoother.
