This forum is getting as bad as GD, there's a whole lot of WTF here lately. Equating IWB with Mexican carry is just one of the absurd things I've read here recently.

i have a friend thats new to concealed carry, and the other day we were in his vehicle and he was showing me his new glock that was in the center console. i reached in, and grabbed it and he's going "whoa whoa whoa whoa man, thats things loaded!!" (no i didn't sweep him either) i made the weapon safe, admired it a moment, and handed it back, decocked, mag in, and handed him the extra round that wouldn't fit back in the magazine.
scolded him that a cocked weapon with no holster is just begging for a neg-discharge. told him for the sake of your own safety, if you're going to have a weapon with no holster, you have to accept the fact that when you pull it you'll have to charge it before you go to work.... but that having the weapon in a holster eliminates this issue.

If you have to carry that bad and no holster get a freaking coat hanger and some electrical tape. At least that way you keep the gun in one spot for the most part and it keeps it from sliding down your pants.

I've given up using holsters. They're hot and expensive. Now i carry dual front of the waistband IWB, appendix and vasectomy. The right hand pistol is a Glock 22 loaded with glaser safety slugs, the left hand Pistol is a colt 1911 loaded with 185 SWCs carried condition 0 because i cant turn off the safety with my left hand.
I'm thinking about getting a semiauto m-11/9 for my primary CCW.

No, I said it was stupid to consider Mexican carry to be as good as holstered carry. I just prefer "absurd" and "equating" over "stupid and "as good as".
