How about a positive experience with a gen 4 Glock
I put 250 rounds through my brand new gen 4 19 today without issue. I did have one case hit my shooting glasses and one case fly forward, but I don't much care as long as they get out of the gun. I've had the same thing happen with older gen 3's. The other 248 rounds landed about 4 feet away at 3:30. I'll be putting another 250 rounds through it tomorrow to finalize my impression.
The gun has a test fire date of 11/14/11 and has the 0-4-3 RSA and 30274 ejector.

Great looking gun. I've had the best of luck with my Glock 22 Gen4.
I've got just shy of 2000 flawless rounds through my gen 4 g17... and it's one of the first runs( i.e recoil spring says 01)
No problems with my Gen 4 17. 500 rounds through it, no issue at all.

Be careful...according to the internet what you have experienced is impossible.
nothing bad to report here.

I've got about 3K through my Gen4 G19. No issues besides shitty trigger pull, which was remedied by a Gen3 G17 trigger bar and - connector.
It's good to hear some good reports now on the new guns, Gen4 or Gen3. I was starting to get scared there for a while.
More good news:
Gen 4 G17 that I bought last February has been issue free through almost 1500 rounds The last 300 or so are with the replacement recoil spring.
Gen 4 G23 that i also bought last february. This one has a much lower round count maybe 250 rounds of 40 and another 300 of 357 SIG. Once again no issues. I have the newest recoil sping for it, but havnt shot it yet.
I'm so confident with the Gen 4 that im trading my Gen 3 Glock 21SF for a Gen 4 G21 tomorrow.
I think I've had 7 post-2010 production Glocks, three have been gen4. 0 problems from the lot of' em, probably 1000 rounds through each. My most recent 17gen4 has been a sweet shooter, built 11/12/2011.
No problems with my Gen 4 G27.

I have in Gen 4: 17,19,22,23, and 27. I have never had any problems with them at all. What is all the hype with bashing the Gen 4. Maybe it's a propaganda campaign by all the competing companies that are trying copy Glock, but will never come close.
It's because of the spring problem with the Gen 4 9mm. Eveidently Glock decided to use the same double recoil spring in both the .40 and 9mm.
It has been corrected.
Another issue seen has be some problem extractors.

I have a gen 4 G19 that has been trouble free, but I read something disturbing about them.
They have MIM strikers and the manual has been changed to recommend snap caps for dry fire to avoid breakage?
This annoys me.

dry firing glocks is some people's hobby.
just got home from shooting a new g17 gen 4, 100 rounds of federal 115gr fmj, 100 rounds of wwb 115 gr fmj and 100 rounds of remington 115 jhp, functioned perfect, no face dingers.
I put another 250 rounds through the gen 4 19 today. Again nothing exciting to report. Had a few cases go to the front and back, but most were consistently at 3:30. I was shooting WWB which isn't known for it's consistency. I did have one FTRTB that I attribute to the ammo. I encountered several rounds with flared casemouths while loading mags and the failure occured with one of these rounds.
No issues with mine. putt about 500 rds of wolf/ federal champion through it yesterday.

Ditto.
No issues with my gen 4 G22, I am even using the old RSA,...still waiting for the new one to arrive. I am pretty sure all Glocks ocasionaly throw brass towards the shooter!
I have no issues with my G17 Gen 4 and G19 Gen 4.
They have both digested any ammo that I have put in them.
Ran 200 rounds through my Gen4 g22 yesterday and it worked perfect.
