Anyone who has a G36 do you ankle carry it, and if so how is it?

Ankle carry works great with G26, G27, and G36. I use Alessi ankle holsters. 2 pairs of socks for comfort - 1 under and 1 over the holster. Practice some draws. From a seated position this is actually the easiest drawstroke of all.

I also use the Alessi ankle holster to carry a G27. Best ankle holster out there. The Galco Ankle Glove is a good holster as well, less expensive than the Alessi, and more available.

The 36 will be slightly thinner (and I think lighter) than the G26 and G27, so that will be good for ankle carry. With the longer magazine baseplate on the 36, it will be similar to ankle carrying a G26/27 with an extended magazine. Depending on your leg size and where you wear the holster you may get a touch of printing of the base of the magazine sticking out the back of your pant leg. Not a huge deal as most people aren't checking out your ankles, but something to be aware of if you're carrying in an environment where being made is something you need to strictly avoid.

I carried a G26 for years in a Galco ankle rig. I never had an issue with standard base plates, but if I carried the extended mags it would occasionally print, as mentioned above.

My only complaint was occasionally the combination of the gun's weight and size rocking against my ankle(I walked probably 8 miles a day at work) would sometimes wear on me. Aside from that, it was a good setup and my mind was always comfortable if my ankle wasn't.
