 Sig 239 slide is loose

If the gun is not loaded especially, the slide seems to clang around on the frame.

I can actually move it from side to side a little.

If I shake the gun I can definitely hear it moving around.

I dont remember this as normal. My other p239 did not do this before I sold it.

The amazing part is that its super accurate and the recoil is amazingly light and function is perfect.

Thats the main issue. Its such an awesome performer that I am a little hesitant to send it back to Sig and have them fuck it up.

My 226 is the same way. I've never had a malfunction with it in a few thousand rounds either (knock on wood).

As long as the barrel and slide lockup is tight I wouldn't worry about it, but that's just me.

So...the gun is accurate and reliable.

I could ignore a little rattle.

The more you shoot a sig...the more they do this. Its normal. How many rounds do you have shot from it?

My 239 is the same way but it is dead nuts accurate and reliable as hell. Mine is not going back to Sig for the reason you stated.

Ill fourth the not a problem and second the if your barrel lockup is tight you definitely don't have a problem.

I'm of the same opinion as everyone else. I have a 239 I stake my life on daily. It rattles. It is also 100% reliable so far and is as accurate as I can ask for. Rattle doesn't mean shit as long as it runs and shoots straight.
