Wouldn't you know it, as soon as I get a P239 they come out with this, essentially a chopped P229. Now I see why Sig stopped production on the 10-round 239 mags, so they wouldn't compete against themselves in the 11-round + 224. I wonder if they're planning to discontinue to 239 with the advent of the 224.
Seems promising if Sig's QC is up to snuff.

i dont think you need to worry about the 224 being the reason they discontinue the 238 but i would worry about the 938 might be the nail in the p238 coffin

i dont think you need to worry about the 224 being the reason they discontinue the 238 but i would worry about the 938 might be the nail in the p238 coffin
Interesting, the 938. At 16 oz. that will be a handful in 9mm. That's even lighter than the 238 HD in .380.
I'll give Sig a couple of years to work the bugs out. I hate to buy the first ones off the assembly line.

I doubt the gun is 16oz. I would bet that is a misprint.
EDIT-Guess it is possible. 16oz is without the mag. 238 is listed as 15 point something oz with a mag.
