Is there an extended safety for an M&P 45??
Does anyone make a different safety level for M&P 45's ?
I like the idea of having it, but in reality it sits too high on the pistol for my thumb to comfortably rest on top of the safety while firing. If I put my thumb where it naturally rests it is far to easy to inadvertently switch it back to "safe" as my thumb rides just under the safety lever.
Obviously it boils down to comfort, but if you can get used to having your thumb on top, that is about the perfect grip. As far as I know, nobody makes any other safeties for the M&P series. If its a huge problem you may be better off removing it.
Try getting those hands way up there though.
