Ran about 150 rounds thru the "new" M57 this afternoon at the range.
Several times, maybe 5 or 6, the trigger would "hang" and not function. I was unable to pull it and drop the hammer.
I'd drop the magazine, clear the round from the chamber, reinsert the magazine, charge the slide, and it would fire ok.
While cleaning it this evening I had trouble removing the hammer group, but eventually it came free.
Does this look "correct" or should the entire surface be even and without the "step" on the edge?
If the "step" is supposed to be there, it's not even and consistent all the way across.
If this surface isn't a problem, what could cause the trigger to hang as if it was on safety, when I made sure the safety wasn't engaged at all?
Please advise since I planned to use this M57 for personal defense, but if there is the slightest possibility that it won't fire on demand, it's of no use to me.
Thanks
bought one two weeks ago same problem it looked to me like the safety is partially engaging ie moving in recoil. remove the safety no problem.
