I want to shoot some 45 Colt bullets in 45 acp chamber/barrel and the bullets have a profile that engages the lands before the case is fully in the chamber at normal seating depths. Is there a way to set back the lands to provide more freebore in the barrel?

You need a piloted reamer and you cut them.
It would be a permanent change.
