These look like a cheaper version of the Raven that does not have a waiting list. Any experiences or opinion?

And whats the deal with sweat guard lengths and what the difference between .006 and .008 thickness Kydex?

I just got it and all I can say is DAMN.

This holster rocks! It's solidly made and seems very sturdy but I guess time will tell.

Retention is ridiculousness! I placed the weapon with a weighted mag (its plastic with a metal brick in it to simulate ammo) in the holster, turned it upside down and shook the PISS out of it. Weapon never budged. However, when I put it on and drew the gun I had no problems. It holds the gun very close to the body and I can conceal a full size g21 with only a sweater or a button up (although the button up is pushing it, I have to keep my arm under 110 degrees or slightly above my head with my arm outstretched to my side. Although, the shirt was a slim cut ralph larren so this may very between shirts)

The gun rides high on the belt without being floppy. Its hard to describe but very nice.

Overall I am very happy.

I haven't heard anything bad. The sweat guard is the part that will be between the slide and your body. The thickness of the kydex is really up to you and depends what it will be used for. If for concealment go thinner. If you're gonna run it hard in classes and stuff go thicker. Another option is kaluban cloak. I ordered mine and it was here in less than a week, but they already had what i wanted in stock.

Ok Ill give them a look.

I knew what the sweat guard was but I don't get the purpose of the different lengths.

I have a bravo concealment holster for my M&P40 and I love it. It seems very well made, smooth edges and nicely curved. I purchased the model with the 1.75 in belt loops and it fits perfectly on my wilderness instructor belt. It has great retention that has started to really become a smooth draw after some draw/fire practice and it also holds tight to my body and conceals very well under a loose t-shirt for OWB. I have also paired it with some comptac c-clips for IWB and its quite comfortable in that role too. Im not exactly a small guy by any means (240 lb) and when I have my pistol in this holster under a t-shirt, it just disappears. Full size M&P btw. It is by far my favorite holster, but I have never handled a raven... Oh and I had it in my hands 16 days after I ordered.

I love this holster, very comfortable, even in jeans that are too tight to be perfect. I have been losing weight now for about 6 months, down from 265 to 235 now. So please ignore the belly fat pic...
And it still is perfect for OWB if its cold outside and I am wearing even just a light hoody or fleece jacket. takes 2 mintes tops to switch between IWB clips and OWB belt loops.
Hides well with just a tee shirt too...

Thanks for the pics. I'm waiting on my order from Bravo Concealment.
And I hear you on the weight. Working my way down from 280 myself.

Here is my setup with the g21 and a shirt or light jacket. Happily it's MUCH colder up here then these clothes allow for, so with a larger coat concealment becomes a non issue.
