IWB holster for G19
I'm searching for an IWB holster for a G19. Would like a Milt Sparks VMII, but don't want to wait 6 mos + on it. Lots of folks on here are recommending the Comp tac MTAC as wel.
Does anyone have experience with the De Santis #028 Cozy partner? If so, how comfortable and concealable is it compared to the MTAC and VMII?
i carry mine in a crossbreed super tuck.
i love it so much i got one for all my pistols!
I have a Crossbreed Super Tuck and a Comp-Tac M-Tac. I use the Super Tuck exclusively.
I use a Comp Tac Infidel.
Crossbreed here.
I use a Comptac C-TAC and like it. The Cozy Partner is more of a Summer Special type holster IIRC which can be fine depending on your preferences but will generally move around more and be a bit thicker. The M-TAC and SuperTuck are popular for a reason, they are good holsters. There are also several other makers who have VMII style holsters but shorter wait times if you want that.
Horsehide Crossbreed Supertuck here. Love it!
I've tried a lot of IWBs for Glock 19/23. The CTAC is all I carry any more.
Another happy Crossbreed customer.
I'm pretty sure you can get a Milt Sparks Summer Special 2 from Brownells right away for a 19. I have one and they are great if you need something very low profile.

niceIWb for a G19
Rocket Man Low rider is a great IWB holster.
You can get a Milt Sparks on ebay about anytime for a few bucks more than direct. well worth the money.

Agreed
I got my SS from Brownells a couple of years ago末末末末末no wait and a great IWB holster for a 19.
I have a gen 4 G19 and recently got a MINOTAUR MTAC for it with "c" clips... I'm VERY happy––super comfortable. I have heard great things about the supertuck, but the shop is quite small, so figure 8 weeks to get one... the MINOTAUR MTAC arrived in 5 days. ;-)

Me too.
I have a cozy partner for my g17. I went from a cheapie pouch style to it. It was a huge increase in comfort and carryability. It was like going from shoes made from broken glass to a pair of sheepskin fuzzy slippers.
Going from Cozy partner to a super tuck was just as big of an increase on comfort. I am not a pimp for the ST so much as I am for the hybrid holster concept. Everyone should try out a hybrid holster of some sort. The concept in itself is so incredibly valid and worth while that it pains me to see anyone CCW any other way.
Going to be ordering a crossbreed for mine
I found the Threatsolutions UCR to be the most comfortable, low profile IWB ever. But I switched to appendix so I don't need mine anymore.

Galco Triton IWB kydex holster. Cheap(ish) Concealable, and (fairly)Comfortable. The 3 C's of CC(c)W.
I like the Comp Tac CTAC for 330-400 OClock carry
As of late (when home) I carry100-130 in a Dale Fricke ArchAngel

I make my own....nearly identical to a Crossbreed Supertuck, and mine are half the price :)

In my experience, leather/kydex hybrids are incredibly comfortable, but con is, they are slow draw wise. Keep that in mind.

Yep, that's one of the reasons I switched to a CTAC full-time a long time ago from an MTAC. I was a lot faster out of the holster with the CTAC.
Comp-Tac Ghurka is my favorite but they ill-advisedly quit making it a while back.
mtac, tshcr
I use a FIST leather holster that can be worn IWB, OWB, or between the belt. It works perfectly for me and conceals very well.
When I had a Glock 19, I carried it in a Crossbreed Supertuck and loved the thing. Most comfortable setup I have ever tried, and the gun would disappear under a t-shirt.
This thread made me just order a Crossbreed supertuck and I dont even have my CHL yet. Oh well ill have it when Im ready for it. Plan to take the class in the next month.
Don Hume IWB....works GREAT !!

Look at Kelley Gun Leather C-Flex. It is similar to the Milt Sparks. I carry a VBOB with it and love it. I'm thinking about ordering one for a Glock.

First post nails it. Crossbreed is king for IWB carry. I could easily hide a full size USP45 so a G19 would just disappearing.
Members here suggested the MTAC to me, and I bit the bullet.... I had it on for 3 minutes, pulled my G26 out of it and put in my G17 and had started shouting Eureka. Go MTAC

Galco all the way very comfortable, crossbreed good but too much real estate too add to your waist. I use Galco royal guard and its perfect. Another choice is their summer comfort.
Crossbreed Super Tuck!
Not trying to hijack but does anyone use the DSG Arms Alpha holster or the Raven Concealment Phantom for IWB carry?
