Does Walther have any pistols chambered in .45 ACP?

I was hoping the new PPQ would, but it looks like it's 9mm and 40S&W only.

No.

The only thing that came close was the S&W 99 in .45ACP. It had a German made frame and small parts with a S&W made SS upper half. It was ok, but rather tall, IMO.

It was made in the AS and QA, but went away when S&W introduced the M&P line.

The SW99 was a close copy like stated above but it did not have the same lines and contouring as the P99s (trigger guard was more rounded, etc) Functionally it was a P99 but from a esthetic standpoint, it was an ugly perversion of a P99

Wife has the 9mm PPQ. I'd lease my soul to the debbil for one in 45 acp. Guess we'll have to wait for HK's 45 acp striker fired pistola.
