Just picked up a nice clean Interarms stainless PPK/S in .380..any advice on what to look out for, best functioning ammo, good spot or site to pick up extra mags? I ve had a few Bersa's that work well but always wanted a Walther PPK/S or Sig Sauer P230

I have a S&W, it shoots everything that I have put into it, from JHP, FMJ, round or flat nose. So far, no problems with about 350 rounds.

On ammo, it's just a case of shooting different brands and types until you find one that shoots reliably in your gun.
What works great in mine may choke yours.

For magazines, stick with factory mags. The aftermarket mags have a history of causing problems. Not in every gun, but in enough to stick with factory mags.

I get superb reliability in my S&W PPK/S.

Plus 1 on "stick with factory mags" with 1 exception. Mecgar makes the mags for S&W and they are in essence factory mags. Put them side by side and you will find zero difference other than what is roll marked on the side.
