WTK - Colt Government Series 70 Factory Nickel
Whats the current market value for one in 90 - 95% condition? Unfortunately, it does not come with the original box. The shiny nickel finish has a coupe of very small scratches, but otherwise excellent condition.
I would say between 1200-1600 depending on shot count, and condition, your 90-95 may be someone elses 75%... Just missing the original box and ppw beings me down to 90%, then being fired goes down to 85%, now some viable defects in the nickel, 80%, ect, ect, ect... I own one unfired nickel mark IV and its brand new unfired in the original oil, I paid $1400 for it a while back..

You maybe right. Assuming the worst case condition, say 75%, what would that be?
I would go $1000-1500, depending on how bad you want it, they are getting harder to come by... I know they do silly money on gunbroker, check there but dont be surprised if they dont have any on there...
Nickel 70 MK IV has current blue book value as follows
90% $675
95% $800
98% $1000
100% $1200
add 10% if in NIB condition
accurately grading the condition is really the wild card...Gunbroker is getting some crazy prices for guns that may not be grading that well but someone sees value ......on the other hand I bought a Colt Satin Nickle within the last year an honest 95% for well less than the $800 blue book.......a buy it now that was only listed about six minutes before I snagged her....
