German made HK45....still available ??
I am looking to buy another HK45 and want it to be the all German version.
Are they still available or do I need to find a NIB version on one of the gun sales sites ?
Thanks
Still available.

HK45 has been made in the US for quite awhile now. The were some BA date code HK45c's that were German, but not HK45's.
They are around, just in Europe. All American HK.45 are made in the states. You will have to do some serious diggin for a NIB HK45 from Germany stateside.
Whats the word on the US made pistols ?
Are they just assembled here from all German parts or are some parts made here ?
German barrels and mags. BB date code

I was under this assumption. The pieces were shipped to the US and final assembly is done at one of the plants here.
The frames are molded here state side using HK molds and tooling. All the rest of the parts are made in Germany and imported.
The USA made HK45 and 45C are just as good as the Germany made versions. That said, I still wanted a German made HK45C, lucky for me my local store had a couple in-stock.
How do you know or tell the difference?? Thanks
Frame says Made in USA on right side with a capital or bell on left side. Slide has capital/bell on left. Barrel has s/n and capital/bell on visable (ejection) side.
Left side (only seen after field strip) has German s/n style (not same as others), and DE. Mags are marked Made in Germany.
Edit: HK45 is BB date code (2011)
Bump to see if anyone has seen any of the German made pistols anywhere for sale ?
I just picked up a AI date code German made HK45 LNIB a few weeks ago. Sorry not for sale though but they are still out there. I feel I made a wonderful deal for mine. Traded a Glock 36 and a Walther P22 straight across for it. SCORE!!
